Description (physical)

The facade of the Old Custom House facing the docks is strikingly classical with four columns supporting a deep pediment decorated with the Borough of Ipswich's coat of arms - a rampant lion with the sterns of three galleons at sea are set within an elaborate cartouche held by two wyverns.
